BRINGING CHARACTERS TO LIFE, THROUGH MOVEMENT
'Charlie is no only a determined and talented artist, she is more importantly an absolute joy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed devising alongside her and would leap at the opportunity to do it again.'

PERFORMANCES: THE HOUSE, PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY
Plymouth Conservatoire, an organisation that is built on a tight relationship between the Univeristy and the Theatre Royal, Plymouth presented the production of Stoning Mary at The House. 24 third year acting students worked extremely hard on their final assessment. I was privedged to be asked to run movement workshops alongside the rehearsals as actors had to be physical fit and able to move confidently on stage. Especially because the performance space was a transverse pit of half a ton of talcum powder, with a lighting rig that slowly dropped from the ceiling. I was also able to interweave my MA studies regarding Laban with the movement workshops which helped towards the phsyciality of the piece and supported the practice of the students.
