BRINGING CHARACTERS TO LIFE, THROUGH MOVEMENT
The StoryBook Project is all about bringing books to life. It can cater for any age. It can be an creative inspiration to follow a narrative, moving through the story and using the plot and pictures to enhance a choreographic idea.
Movement workshops can be used to increase movement memory, understand the idea of sequence or order, engage the imagination and find a connection between a world of words and pictures and movement.
It is about discovery, independance and confidence.
The StoryBook Project presents -
Sophie & Goose.
'I was delighted when Charlie asked if she could
use Sophie and Goose in the Storybook
project. To be able to use the
characters to educate children, but
in a really fun way, is wonderful.
Charlie's workshops will bring the
characters, and stories, to life through
movement and fun, with the bonus of
nurturing children's confidence and
skills in maths, movement and also
social skills such as sharing and play.'
